The purpose of athletics at Calvary Christian Academy is to glorify the name of Jesus Christ through our words, deeds and thoughts both in and out of the sports arena. Our desire is to help, in training the student-athletes Body, Mind and Spirit. Our excellent coaching staff seeks to instill our athletic creed A.R.M.O.R. in every student-athlete that comes in our school.
"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2:3-4
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it." 1 Corinthians 9:24
"But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13b-14
"But for those who are self-seeking or contentious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury." Romans 2:8
"For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields, the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." Hebrews 12:11
