JUNIOR HIGH SOFTBALL

The Calvary JH Softball program seeks to develop softball players who can contribute at the Varsity level once they enter High School.  Teaches players to glorify the name of Jesus through our actions and words on the softball diamond all while playing the game of softball with a competitive spirit. 

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Competing and beating bigger schools. A majority of our JH players end up being significant contributors on the Varsity team once they get to High School.

ELIGIBILITY

Junior High Girls from the 6th - 8th Grade. Each year before the season starts we have tryouts.

HOW TO ENROLL

Come to the first day of tryouts. Talk to the coaches about your interest in trying out and getting tips and drills you can work on beforehand.

UNIFORM

Softball glove, Softball bat, Softball cleats, Softball pants. 

Most if not all these items only need to purchased once you make the team, not needed for tryouts. 

START DATE

Softball season starts in late February.

A typical JH Softball schedule is from late February till mid April.

LOCATION

We practice at Calvary on the practice field and batting cage.

Games are played locally. Our home games are typically played at White Settlement Central Park. Our games are all played against various DFW private and public schools.
