My name is Richard Clayton and I am the secondary principal at Calvary Christian Academy. I have spent the last eleven years teaching pre-AP and AP social studies courses to middle and high school students at CCA. I hold bachelor’s degrees in Integrated Social Studies and History. Additionally, I hold a Masters degree in Education. My mission at CCA has always been to educate the mind but more importantly to develop the spirit. I have been married to my wife Charlene for 35 years. I have three wonderful daughters who are married and I have two grandkids. I enjoy camping, eating, football, hiking, music, soccer, and traveling.
All CCA students engage in daily devotion through their Bible class called, Connect with God. They participate in worship, prayer, and learning to hear and recognize God’s voice. Weekly chapel for elementary students are on Tuesday and on Wednesday for our secondary students.
Calvary has two fully equipped computer labs offering a total of more than 40 workstations. Students learn to utilize keyboard and computer software for business related classes as well as graphic design. NOTE: CCA reinforces a strict No Cellphone policy during school hours.
All students, families, and classroom records, including grades, lesson plans, and assignments are managed online.
