History of Calvary Christian Academy
Responding to a growing need for affordable, academically strong Christian education, Calvary Christian Academy opened its doors to kindergarten through grade twelve in 1979. Today, the Academy's student body has grown to over three hundred students, taught by a dedicated faculty and staff. The Academy has earned an outstanding reputation for academic excellence, drawing young people from all over the Fort Worth and Dallas area and internationally. Calvary Christian Academy is accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA) which is approved by the Texas Private School Accrediting Commission (TEPSAC) and AdvancED, formerly known as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
The mission of Calvary Christian Academy is to train students academically and spiritually to discover and achieve their destiny. To accomplish this mission, The Academy is committed to providing a Christ-centered, Biblical perspective in the major areas of human knowledge (math, science, history, literature, Bible) along with an emphasis on physical development and fine arts. The Academy employs degreed, highly qualified, and dedicated teachers that are committed to this cause.
